Mr. Wilbur Dean Claar, 94, of Claar Road, Alum Bank, died at 7:35 AM, Thursday, April 16th, 2015 at Carrol's Rest Home, Bedford.

Mr. Claar was born in W. St. Clair Twp. on Sunday, October 3, 1920,  the son of the late Walter and Rena (Mickle) Claar.

He is survived by  Niece- Carol A. wife of  Edward McCormack, Lewisberry; Niece- Linda L. Gabriel, Dover.  He was preceded in death by two brothers, Ray & Robert.

Mr. Claar was a lifelong farmer.  He was a wonderful brother, uncle & friend and he will be missed.

A funeral service will be held at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg at 1:30 PM on Monday, April 20th, 2015 with Chaplain Dale DiBernadinis, Grane Hospice officiating.

Interment will be held at Fishertown Cemetery.

Friends are invited to call on Monday from 12:30 - 1:30 PM at the funeral home in Schellsburg.
